As is probably quite evident of late Miss Vanessa is expecting a baby! Catherine Moore, an ex-professional dancer and great friend of Miss Vanessa’s has kindly agreed to step in for her for the latter part of the Autumn Term when the burgeoning bulge and imminent arrival of he/she might hamper teaching somewhat! Catherine is coming all the way from her native South Africa to join us and is very much looking forward to meeting everyone in September. Miss Vanessa will be around for the first few weeks of term to introduce Catherine and get her settled in and is hoping to be back again in time for the start of the Spring Term (January 2008).

Francesca Ahern has been offered a place on the Royal Ballet’s Junior Associate Program - big congrats from all of us!

Karlotta Lister-Cheese will be leaving us at the end of this term as her family is re-locating to Switzerland – we hope she will continue to enjoy her ballet at her new school in Geneva.

Maddie, Mia and Rosa Lewin are also off to pastures new (literally!) as they are decamping to the country. Various members of the Lewin clan have been with us since The Ballet School began - a big thank you to them for their ongoing support over the years!

Congratulations to those pupils who have just taken their RAD Graded Examinations - the results were fantastic - everyone passed and was awarded either a Distinction or Merit.

‘One Minute Silence‘, a short film produced by Amarillo Films and starring twelve of our pupils has been selected for the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival 2007.
