As The Ballet School London follows the RAD’s system of training this involves various (optional) assessment and examination procedures at every level. These provide the children with motivational milestones and the opportunity to progress and achieve as they work their way up the grades. It is important that students are well prepared for these exams/assessments and that sufficient time is allowed for them to develop the necessary technical and artistic skills required at any given level. Children must come twice a week for the term prior to their exam (Primary level) and twice a week on an ongoing basis for those who are working towards Grade 1 and upwards.

Candidates who have achieved a pass or higher in Grades 6, 7, 8, Intermediate or Advanced Foundation, can use their RAD exam result towards their points tariff when applying to a relevant course at a university or higher education in the UK.
